The 1,500MW Az-Zour North gas-fired combined cycle power plant is located in Az-Zour, approximately 100km south of Kuwait City. The power plant was built as part of the Az-Zour North Independent Water and Power Project (IWPP). The construction of the power plant and a desalination plant forms the first phase of the IWPP. The new integrated power plant and desalination plant was completed and commissioned in the fourth quarter of 2016.

The combined-cycle gas turbine power plant in La Brea, Trinidad & Tobago, is designed for 765 MW. This power plant increases power generation in Trinidad by 50%. This project section supports the emergency feed-in of the power plant.

Thielmann Energietechnik successfully delivered six dust-liquid separators, six condensate tanks and two knock-out drums to Max Streicher in Niederwinkling in September 2015.
